Been there. I lost most of my access to my family, home, and even food in 2007. I don't recommend it myself. But certainly being attentive to how our greatest losses affect us, and using that to redirect our goals in life, to honor the losses, is something I highly recommend.

I wouldn't have recommended it if not for what it did for me. Nondoership is a hell of an upgrade from feeling personally involved in everything. Esp. in the start of a divorce.

There isn't any push or pull in the latter. I'm consciously avoidant at the moment, though. Not so much because I have to be as because it seems to help the body relax. I think I/it has earned some rest.
