More than an hour on from taking two drags of a cigarette, and my body is still having getting hit with waves of nausea.
And I used to smoke a pack a day.
Poor, poor body.

say "thank you Body." It's always lovely when the body give you the correct feedback. "No this is bad for you and it feels like shit." The problem is when something is bad for you and feels good.

Body is extremely acute about that lately. Feedback is extremely precise, even with mixed good/bad (alcohol).
Nicotine is pure, pure evil, though. Just beyond awful. Complete, total disgust.

It's really astonishing how naturally intelligent the body is, and how much of it is dissociated away.
Most of my unusual intuitions about people are traceable to minute body sensations. And it's *very* good at this kind of discrimination.

Dissociation was one of my major problems. Still probably dissociated in some ways, though, of course, Vipassana has made me able to read my body better than most ordinary people.

I am tipsy and tired and far below my usual level of articulation, but I had a very big aha-moment.
The reason my mind is less noisy is my body is louder (and heard!)
The reason there is some chatter still is there are some signals from the body that are blocked/distorted.
