It certainly has no bearing where *I* live, where it's all stagnant socdem and neoliberals fighting it out while the facists grow.

US has no establishment communists. It's the sentiment growing in the wings that concerns me.

You are focused on externalities that are fiction so you should be relieved.. I mean you could focus on the suspension of parliament, Hong Kong demonstrations, right wingers with assault weapons or the paid lobbyists at the unaccountable DNC.

I think you'll find I can, will and indeed should focus on the things it pleases me to focus on. Mind your own priorities.
(Also, I spend far more attention on all of those things than this, and far more on the climate and long-term survival of the soecies than any of *those*.)
