Really looking forward to when the fascists collapse and we're all reminded that these disingenuous Left takes unifying anarchists, social democrats and tankies in one blob don't reflect reality. You know, when the tankies take over the corporate surveillance? That will be fun.

I'm politically left, probably far left on most issues. Which is exactly why I'll never trust a militant communist. Some of us paid occasional attention to history.

So are you saying the people calling for a worker's revolution and seizing the means of production and gulliotines are all in my head? Phew, what a fucking relief! If we can't have a left strong enough to both dismantle the security state and fix global externalities...

It certainly has no bearing where *I* live, where it's all stagnant socdem and neoliberals fighting it out while the facists grow. But that is here, now. Other places are not so blessed.

Also, I like Bernie, but the guy is a left-leaning centrist in any sane paradigm. US has no establishment communists. It's the sentiment growing in the wings that concerns me.

You are focused on externalities that are fiction so you should be relieved.. I mean you could focus on the suspension of parliament, Hong Kong demonstrations, right wingers with assault weapons or the paid lobbyists at the unaccountable DNC.

I think you'll find I can, will and indeed should focus on the things it pleases me to focus on. Mind your own priorities. (Also, I spend far more attention on all of those things than this, and far more on the climate and long-term survival of the soecies than any of *those*.)
