Well, never with that word but when Buddhist philosophy is most commonly summed up with the first noble truth "Life is suffering" I thought there was a pretty overtly anti-natalist sentiment...

I like to remember that the Buddha founded an order of celibate monks and nuns. Buddhism for lay people, while important to me, probably didn't much concern him. Anti-natalism was baked into the original cake.
