I’m tiptoeing carefully around the whole sinkhole of “there is a self/there is only no-self”. Been going on for 2500 years in Indic culture and it’s fucking •yawn• at this point. I’d rather watch Itchy and Scratchy then another round of the old anatta/anatman v atman stuff

I am just amused by atomic identification.
Whatever side of the fence you are, or CBA to be, of the self/no-self stuff, your thoughts (or your big toe, or your breath) are certainly not your "self"!
I'm too agnostic to give a fuck tbh. Not enjoying identification with thoughts or feelings, but I "am" whatever I feel like at the time.
This feels sufficient for me at this stage.
