What's wrong with Bay Area housing activism in one image. So much more interested in scoring anti-techie points than anything else - and missing out on the donations they'd probably have got if they engaged with the BM community rather than insulting them.

It's all there, the pretentiousness, the tone-deafness, pettiness, disinterest in actually achieving anything...

I don't know, these dickheads self-label as lefties even though they are mostly authoritarian identitarians.
Would not want these people as allies, but that is perhaps the point.
It would be unsurprising if some of the leaders turned out to be FBI assets, like in the old days.

This image is so bad I'd question if it was a 4chan style psyop to discredit the "left" if it didn't come from a known source.
There is, generally, a deep mistrust verging on hatred of the "counterculture" in the Bay Area activist scene. It's weird, man.

I feel like a lot of it is communist in origin.
We had a big jump in reactionary activism in Norway a decade or so ago, when a Stalinist group tried to take over multiple left parties and orgs. Died quickly.
The US seems far more ripe for this stuff, given the gross inequality.

Weird. Must be an artifact of Twitter. I see tankies all over this kind of output when I go look.
