Balance this with energy food.
I use oats, barley, & rye porridge, 2:1:1 mix, with glucose, fructose, & cane sugar. Plus honey for taste. 1 cup dry ingredients : 2 cups milk.
Each ingredient has a different digestion time, so the energy rush never falls until lunch.
Only use a small amount of each.
Because glucose is closest in structure to blood sugar, it requires a small amount of time for your kidneys to process.
Fructose slightly longer, cane sugar slightly longer again.
Same mechanism for the grains.
When the initial glucose rush is starting to tail off, the fructose kicks in, as that is tailing off, the cane sugars kick in, then each of the grains in turn.
Means that you get a constant level of energy throughout the day. :D
