This is all true. But in any other context, fucking up spectacularly can have spectacular consequences. If Culadasa has broken the ethical standards of his organization (I don't know them well enough to comment), it's kind of his own problem...

Just a note for anyone who hasn't gotten the message: dharma teachers are regular human beings who can fuck up spectacularly, just like anybody else. If you're meditating to become "perfect" in some way, you are sadly mistaken about the effects of the practice.

But whether he has or hasn't, he is guilty of no crime and is at worst just a shitty husband. His work can stand totally independent of that. There is no evidence of his methods being utilized to abuse anyone.

When it comes out that an organization like a dharma lineage or a church has covered up patterns of sexual abuse, their entire teaching is suspect. Grooming disguised as spiritual teachings is a common phenomenon. There is no evidence of that here.
