It is an interesting argument because is both hilariously and obviously wrong, AND was already defeated once in living memory after decades of hegemony.

Sure. "The mind," as construed in Western thought is a bit of a magical construct that only maps to two real things: thoughts and imagery. The argument "all these myths about what mind is are false, and therefore those things in those myths don't exist," is banally fallacious.

Morals, revealed preferences, aesthetics etc. are all very real. They just have very little to do with the mind. All the mind is is this interpretative superstrate that is fairly uninteresting unless you are very well-trained in its use. So *mind* may well be flat...
