Exhibit 3: This lake on an island in a strait. Also; the nice gull who posed for a photo.
This photo was taken around 22:30, by the way.

Exhibit 4: Enough of politics. Here is a glorious mural of a rooster on a local school.

6: One of my old meditation spots. Neat place to retreat to when home was no good.
Sat on the bench, stared at the chapel.

7: Weirdly wholesome Stalinist graffiti.
"Racism divides the people - organize yourself - fight against (it)"
URL is to a Stalinist communist party. Tried to take over the mainstream socialists more than once, through typical Communist committee infiltration. Fun people!

9: Mountains, again.

10: The King's Park. Used to cross this thing while skipping class to hang out at (one of) the used book store(s).

11: This weird little tunnel, roughly between items 4 and 10. It's kitschy as hell, but has all these funny little woven wool figuries made by the kids from the school.
School is called Gyllenborg (lit. "Golden Castle").

15: Yet more mountains. You'd normally see Tromsdalstinden where there's just a big blanket of fog in this picture.

16: I've always thought busts and statues are a bit pretentious, so it amuses me how the gulls seem to use them as target practice for their poops.

17: Norwegians really, really enjoy making quirky wooden houses. I lived in one of these three for a while.
Lovely, lovely wood.
