Exhibit 2: In Norway, "private property" does not allow owners to fence off every shortcut. Instead, paths like this are all over the place.

Exhibit 3: This lake on an island in a strait. Also; the nice gull who posed for a photo. This photo was taken around 22:30, by the way.

6: One of my old meditation spots. Neat place to retreat to when home was no good. Sat on the bench, stared at the chapel.

7: Weirdly wholesome Stalinist graffiti. "Racism divides the people - organize yourself - fight against (it)" URL is to a Stalinist communist party. Tried to take over the mainstream socialists more than once, through typical Communist committee infiltration. Fun people!

11: This weird little tunnel, roughly between items 4 and 10. It's kitschy as hell, but has all these funny little woven wool figuries made by the kids from the school. School is called Gyllenborg (lit. "Golden Castle").

13: These buggers. Been trying for weeks to find a gull that was calm enough to photograph up close. Finally managed. This one kept smacking its beak. Guess it was hungry!
