practice.
Breath sensations, a mantra or some mental counting - it really doesn't matter.

Since I shuffle a lot of paper around, I find myself doing a lot of focusing on counting. Ascending and descending numbers.
Any activity that can be used as a framing device for the practice is also memory trigger: "oh, I was supposed to do this meditation."
