Meditation pro tip: The more monotonous, mediocre and mind-numbing your job is, the better suited it will be for a concentration practice. Breath sensations, a mantra or some mental counting - it really doesn't matter.

The key thing is this will improve your attentional skills in an environment that would otherwise degrade them. Also often leads to cool trance and bliss states, so yay.

Since I shuffle a lot of paper around, I find myself doing a lot of focusing on counting. Ascending and descending numbers. Any activity that can be used as a framing device for the practice is also memory trigger: "oh, I was supposed to do this meditation."
