Then they'll just die. A lot of individuals aren't to blame, but as a whole humanity is. We reap as we sow. So be it.

It's 50C in India today. Half way between boiling and freezing. The air feels like hot tapwater. People are dying in droves, most of them uncounted. In America it is too wet to plant corn over huge areas. The warnings are becoming reality. Nobody knows how to live in this world.

I don't know, is it? Humans seem a bit too stupid to make informed choices, and too fractious to make collective decisions. I don't tend to blame chickens for pecking their coops barren, either... Think the differences between us and them are smaller than they look to some.

*shrug* if we're too stupid to make choices, then we should be made extinct, because we have too much power to be allowed to be irresponsible and evil.

I don't know, are we worse than other things in nature? It seems to me like our central vice is that we're just a bit smarter. We don't see many arguments to pacify nature, which seems right to me. We're clearly not smart enough to understand what we're messing with. So why us?
