I find I am less and less anxious as the climate change and societal collapse genies escape their bottles.
Far as I can tell, anxiety is all procedural, paradox of choice-driven stuff. Not often natural. But we create systems that manufacture it, teleologically and by accident.

When I look at my thoughts of the future, I see possibility space after possibility space shrinking, contracting, disappearing...
It's scary, sure, aggravating in any number of ways. But anxiety-inducing? Not quite so much!

I've spent enough time in Poland to see the mindsets of the top polluters and their lackeys, coal barons and politicians...
They will still be complaining about the "climate hoax" in the 40 celsius heatwave about to hit them.

Then you have people here in Norway, at every level of society, arguing over plastic straws and tariffs.
Does anyone want to get Norway to import neutral on food or water, or do something about the oil profiteering? Hardly anyone, of course.

Probably the best vector for doing something about things right now is to start working on it yourself. If you can organize people, cool.
Treat legislation and politicians as tools to distract and bother the State while you get actual things done, not as ends in themselves.
