A thread of screenshotted tweets that I personally think merit blocking. I'll blank out the names and handles to minimize the odds of dogpiling or cycles of abuse. The point here is to highlight the _behavior_ that I find unacceptable. (This should be fun!)

- I said "over the years", so obviously I'm not talking about any one single thing – you're misrepresenting me - I never said "canonize", you're misrepresenting me again - you come to MY timeline and tell ME to go home? Why are you following me in the first place? - bye 👋🏾

My views on this have evolved very slowly over ~20 years online. I don't like blocking people. But I've learned that shitty behavior propagates. It invites others to join in. It drives away good people who are uncomfortable with (or uninterested in) brawling

I always tolerate this shit longer than I should. Bye! 👋🏾 Protip: we *can* discuss these things if you want to, eg in the first case he could’ve said “I’m curious about why you’re interested in this”. I told him as much. If you’re not gonna play nice you can GTFO

So here's the pattern I'm seeing person: *being obnoxious, belligerent* me: I'm sure you had no intention of being this unnecessarily rude. Are you okay? person: *ignores this out* [moments later] person: *new instance of being needlessly dickish* me: alright! byeeee~ 👋🏾😘

Blocking this guy purely for wasting my time. I know it can seem kinda harsh but I’m already starting to get more replies than I can keep up with, and nuisance responses like this are tedious to deal with
