My views on this have evolved very slowly over ~20 years online. I don't like blocking people. But I've learned that shitty behavior propagates. It invites others to join in. It drives away good people who are uncomfortable with (or uninterested in) brawling

Blocking this guy purely for wasting my time. I know it can seem kinda harsh but I’m already starting to get more replies than I can keep up with, and nuisance responses like this are tedious to deal with

Guys like that merit an instablock and/or ridicule even with my sparse follower count. Just not worth the time to engage in good faith, IMO.
