I keep enough feelers around the right-wingers to know something about what's up. Know your enemy, and all that. Performative whining from poodle ideologues and shills aside, the actual brains are mostly laughing about how much the left trips over its own feet. For good reason.

Even my progress party-voting, racist grandpa understands environmental issues fairly well. He spends far more energy complaining about pollution, poor public management and waste than he does "the gays" or immigrants. Can you guess what most leftists would try to sell him on?

Used to be you could trust the Communists to do the most to ratfuck every other left-wing faction. Now the top 3 contenders are the corporate media, intelligence services and the left-wingers themselves. Total ideological capture at every level.

If you want an effective left-wing party, you probably need three things: - green (without letting the idiot petty crusaders on board) - economic minimum solutions (think UBI, but more comprehensive) - emphasis on pluralistic freedoms, not "equality" (minimize nanny statism)
