I can only get so excited about that because they don't seem to be pushing for effective solutions, in too many cases.

No, are you kidding? There are good reasons why they've been eating grass every election until a widespread panic about the climate hit.
But as a sentiment, it's good to see. Politicians will absolutely chase any vote they can, too.

Oh yeah, quite agree. It's frustrating that actually voting for Green parties feels as though it'll take us further away from doing anything significant about the environment. I mean if they get more politicians, they'll be the ones blocking stuff like new nuclear.
