Fascinating how enervating remote work can get. But then, that makes perfect sense since the whole scheme is mostly about offloading various risks and overheads onto the worker...

Which is not to say that this model of work couldn't be a clear improvement on office work in every aspect.
But due to the structure in which it's implemented, and the economic motivations and legislative frameworks around it, it's more of a net negative.
