I don't. Most of the tech labelled 'AI' today is only good at stuff humans are so dogshit at, we find any degree of precision, nonlateral learning, absolute goal-driven decision-making or processing power at all overwhelming.

Strongly agreed. I've worked in linguistic ML development for two years-ish. I am not a linguist, nor a statistician, nor a software engineer.

Yes, my point was exactly in transposing the same grift employed in my relatively benign industry to something like the examples you're outlining here.
