the problem with this take is that, in the abstract, it could easily be applied to CK/Weinstein/Spacey too - the ideal world would be one in which there's not a rush to judgement, but that doesn't mean that ideal world would have zero people getting fired for being shitty.

oh, absolutely - I'm just worried that the pushback against social media callout false positives will lead to corporations deciding to just throw the baby out with the bathwater & stand behind high-earner actors for as long as possible while burying accusations and evidence.
