I am also on the anti-banning train, but I wouldn't waste my breath on some shithead like Rubin - considering he magically forgets those issues when they don't affect him. But it is worrying on the level of principle. Just as Twitter went from banning Milo to banning dissidents.

As I said, won't stick my neck out for Rubin, Milo etc. - they're scumbags who happily abuse power when they have it, then whine when it hits back. But it concerns me how easily and abruptly these decisions can be made. In the case of Patreon, you have people living off that.

Yes. I also don't really see the left-wing interest in approving of unrestrained corporate power (when it hits the right-wingers). Taking issue with that is kind of supposed to be our wheelhouse.
