jokes aside, I think this is a good measure that should be popularized + normalized - people shouldn't be/feel trapped in their jobs - those who take the offer get extra $$ on their way out + avoid being fired or having to resign - average performance and morale should go up

This is why I get (probably excessively) opinionated about neoliberalism vs. capitalism. Politicians, corporations and think-tankers hide Norway's success under the umbrella of "capitalism", but it's exactly the sort of capitalism that assumes you should want people to succeed.
