- extend charity, don't assume malice
- tell the truth
- be courageous
- be humble
- admit your ignorance
- prefer unanswerable questions over unquestionable answers
- pay attention
- look for falsification, not confirmation
- never be angry by accident

I like the last 3 and "admit your ignorance". They are to varying extents actionable.
"Tell the truth" has some problematic associations from the Archmoron, Kant. I feel it's generally too open-ended.

The others could maybe be useful, but as presented I'm not sure what they require me to do or not.
Hence they don't really function as norms, unless I'm being obtuse today.
