If I open a generic gaming streamer/youtuber/twitterer, I can model all their political ideas w/very high accuracy if they call other people NPCs.

Isn't this pretty much how strong ideological partisanship has already been seen to work?
Is this term really an earnest attempt to frame a concept?
If so, it's a Less Wrong-esque rebranding & neophiliac reinvention of a commonplace idea.
