I'm tired of remakes. And I'm not a politician, or I'd attempt it myself.

my vague guess is – I don't think it can happen within the current structure – ie if you're looking for new politics you probably have to look for new people doing new things in new spaces and contexts, and the new politics will necessarily emerge from that. probably. hopefully.

My big worry is that a lot of those will die or make you a soon-to-be target in those countries like... the one I live in... before they get off the ground.
But yes, I agree. Shifting my weight that direction, ever so slowly.
