Yeah, well, all of that is pretty much a given.
It's a question of triage, not solutions.
It remains my opinion that the US will be worse hit than many places not in the southern hemisphere or so-called third world.
Don't get me wrong, though: I'm bailing the hell out of Poland, soon. This place is not going to be good for anyone, even with minimal climate effects.

I'm sort of morbidly curious to see how long the US can keep up appearances of being a healthy economy and not a global economic tick, but I wouldn't want to be there when that bubble bursts.
