The funniest thing about hardcore political partisans is how they're unable to see criticism of their side as anything else than the "other" side.

That's very much a do or do not proposition. If you don't care about it, it cares about you.

Mpre of a universal one. Most people are terrible at self-criticism.
Even people capable of seeing their own flaws tend to overcompensate the other way.
