Saw Panos Cosmatos' film Mandy yesterday. A stunning, utterly delicious mind-fuck of the first order. Nic Cage's performance is a tour de force. Yummy flowing LSD visuals. Music by Jóhann Jóhannsson. Go see it. Now.

I sometimes see 5-6 films a week. I see a LOT of film. This was unlike any other. I was speechless. I want to see it again on acid.

Well, it's the only horror-type experience I foresee overtaking Under the Shadow for me this year, if anything can. And I got to see a lot of good horror this year. A lot.
