Still fiddling with some dials on my own meditation practice. Keeping to a discrete range of techniques, but trying to bring them into as many activities as possible. Will return with more pointers when I've figured out something good. Maybe later tonight.

There are many arguments against a multidisciplinarian approach. You'll lack context, you may go in circles, you will struggle with basic terminology (because it is never used consistently, and they all share). But one advantage: you can pick up new techniques pretty fast.

By now I've tried so many different meditation techniques, I can pretty much DIY an entire array of practices designed to practice any area I want. This may be more or less the only advantage I've derived from years of eclectic stumbling about, but at least it's something.
