Not really. And agency is entirely local. Your body has more agencies than you can ever keep track of. My back? Wants a stretch. Cardiovascular system? Wants some exercise. Prefrontal personality structure? Wants problems, context, meaning. Genitals? Some fuk. It's all nested.

If I stop with the "me me me" for a second, a million agencies open up for exploration & satiation. The body makes choices that on the whole affect the whole better. It's not "me", but so what? That me never was.

Yeah, but if we let New Age hucksters appropriate all terminology, we will not get far. If your sense of self fades to black, do you lose your taste for food, your thirst for water? I find I remember to stay hydrated, something I seldom do while mostly in headspace. Empowering.
