So, totally fair to be scared of Nazis. Plenty of historical evidence that this is a good idea.
But, just saying, the Daily Stormer is currently committed to a propaganda war against... a mid-size games developer from the UK, over female generals in a historical game.

It's pretty much PETA in weird uniforms and bad haircuts at this point.

The heirs of Gamer*gate are concocting some fairly sophisticated nextgen fascist ideation.

The local reaction it got in the forums for these games was a mix of ridicule and a few earnestly intense anarchists jumping in to yell at them.
A lot of people are wise to the tricks now. There are only so many times you can use the same post-ironic rhetoric & posturing.

The developer in question also issued a PR statement telling them, quite politely, to fuck off. No change was made to the game in question.
I don't expect these tactics to pay off in the future, either. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems very, very ineffectual.

The goal is not to get the developer to change. The goal is to develop an avant-garde, especially an "intellectual" one. The campaigns about particular games and developers are besides the point/staging grounds.

I see the argument, I just don't think the avant-garde is a major threat. They have no new ideas as far as I can tell. Not much worthy of the name.
By contrast, I think the old connections between fascists, big money, politics & media are reaping the crops, e.g. here in Poland.
