The people who collect screenshots of others' tweets to publicly shame them would definitely be collaborators under a totalitarian regime.

I get confronting people with really notable hypocrisy, when it fits. I'm talking about doing it as a sort of hobby.

There's also a diff between punching up & punching down, imo.
Although I'm getting close to never arguing on twitter at all anymore, if I lapse I still check the other's profile. If (as happens often) they have like 20 tweets & 10 followers then why even bother.
