You start noticing these weird pseudohallucinations. Brains are funny and like to pattern-match. Currently, the dishwasher is sort of playing music at me, the gaps in the rhythm filling automatically.

Yes noticing how vision quakes with each heartbeat, with the much higher frequency fluctuations coming from light sources, had quite a big impact on me also
I think my atypical wiring may have helped my practice wrt this, eg: it’s common for autistics to notice bulbs flickering.

As a kid I remember having a minor freak out when I realised I could hear my heartbeat - and then I’d listen to it as I fell asleep.
Sounds like a womb. Freud would jizz his thong.

I have scarcely any episodic memory at all. It's sometimes a bit disturbing. A lot of things I strongly feel I *should* remember that are only there when heavily prompted.
It's weird.
