135 months. We have 135 months until the planet passes the point of no return for runaway global warming. After that point (2030) we will inevitably go extinct according to the Global Commission on the Economy & Climate.

But, what, you were expecting to come out of this alive? o.o

I'm half-expecting some psychopath to do the math and just find a way to kill upwards of a couple billion people within a decade or so. But that seems like a pretty lame bet to be taking.

Everything accelerating ever faster into oblivion is giving me such a massive injection of fatalism, I'm actually starting to enjoy life more. Crisis yoga best yoga.

If the prognosis isn't 'it can't get worse,' but 'it will keep getting worse, faster and faster,' then it's hard to argue in favor of pessimism. What's the point of being a pessimist if you have to keep adjusting expectations downwards anyway?
