Sometimes I wonder what stories I'm telling myself, and what they're supposed to validate.

Whatever the story is, whoever is telling it, nobody ever seems to know that this is the story they're telling, or why they're telling it.
And, in most cases, not even that it's just that: a story.

Now that I think of it, I think "story" is a bit overused in my circles. It's more like an interpretative dance than a story.
Our minds tend to go where our feelings go.

If I had to guess, I'd say most interpretations of behaviour that go far beyond your immediate feelings & thoughts are not even wrong; just irrelevant.
