Anti-narcissism is almost always a subset of narcissism. This ain't far apart.

Generally, everyone you know is a bit narcissistic. But one aapect of real NPD is grandiose exaggeration of other people's supposed grandiosity.
Self-realism and judgementality have trouble coexisting.
The TV vs classics bit is hilarious. It's straight from the narcissistic self-mythologizing cycle.

I agree that "anti-narcissism" is not the way to deal with your own narcissism, but it is worth knowing how the people around you are going to act.
I think the continued growth of narcissism and the rise of authoritarianism are real stories in my culture.
