Well, at least it makes a change from the tech industry approach (which is more often than not a hazing for the interviewee).

My approach is to just roll with it and treat it as if I'm doing the interviewer a favor by talking about myself and my particular skills.
Landed me about three jobs I was massively underqualified for, so I might be doing something right.
Fuck job interviews.
