Liberalism collapsed in the early 20th Century. It was quite a big deal.
Those "liberal" things like social security, New deal, NHS, those were the product of post WW2 SocDem.
Neoliberalism took hold in the 80's. It's collapsing now.

The point is, it took for everything to go completely to shit before liberalism relented & supported a SocDem shift. And now, it has done so again. We may not have had a WW, yet, but we've done just as bad, if not worse, in ecocide.

I only hope that climate change is enough.
How much more damage do we need to do, how many more coups and pipelines and drones and crashes do we need before western liberals accept it's fucked up, stop punching left, and start punching up?
