I wouldn’t go that far. the implication is that “universe” is a word that possibly has no reference. but if there is a universe, it refers to everything. given a positive meaning, then everything is the universe.

Yeah, I was pulling your leg a bit. ;) The monist argument seems persuasive enough to me, on more levels than just that one.
