For sure, some users are more sophisticated than others. Yet there is a huge market for basic dopamine-jacking games like candy crush.
And bad game physics has its own subreddit and is a source of many memes. The glitches can become a feature, if you're having fun.

Oh for sure. A game I play frequently had a bug where cars would clip into the ground, explode and launch off the map like a rocket. Too funny.
Conversely, there are core technologies people get very particular about. Connectivity, stability... but that drives development.
