All the same, Mr. High Status passes judgment on anyone who doesn't conform to his dress code, and Ms. Insecure thinks we're hipsters because we can afford a flat she can't.

I have a lbit more understanding for the low income lady, given a lot of people here are trapped in shitty economic situations, but it's still the exact same, dubious character trait.

There is nothing virtuous about earning a lot of money. But also, until you're talking about A LOT of money, there's nothing bad about it either.
