one thing extra interesting is someone besides John Williams did the score, and did some really interesting things with it. like action sequences accompanied by a choir. it worked really well.

the acting was all pretty good and Emilia Clarke lit up the screen of course.

in general watching this was a similar experience to first watching A New Hope in 1977.
