That’s an outright lie. You can’t defeat austerity and go ahead with Bre it. You can’t win an election with Corbyn as your leader.

Better than the conservatives dystopia

How about just not having a dystopia? Remember what that was like, when those neoliberal bastards Blair and Brown were in charge and the UK resembled a well-functioning social democracy? Halcyon days.pic.twitter.com/yPRMzzfq3x

3 General Election-Cycle Changes: Labour 1997-2010 Votes: -4908640 (Worst Ever) Seats: -160 (2nd Worst Ever) % Votes: -14.2% (Worst Ever) I look to your dystopia-free explanation as to why a Government you characterise as pretty much immaculate were so harshly voted out?

I think the brand may have been tainted by a small war in the Middle East; association with a pretty dodgy dossier; Bush jr etc.
-
This is true. Unfortunately, because otherwise Blair would have been remembered as one of the best peacetime PMs ever.
-
That was what I was going to add. Other than Iraq he’d have been judged as one of the greats.

Err no. 1. Next GE a 5 year choice. Brexit once in a generation. 2. Continued austerity = priority choice for HMG nothing to do with EU 3. Brexit prolongs austerity. Hence so many Labour MPs & members are against it & pro a

No, you'll find we want the Tories gone as well Next GE if May survives is is 2022 Brexit has a dead line less than 90 days away & will wreck the UK economy meaning if Labour does win an GE, they will inherit a disaster, if fact the Tories might just let Lab win to blame them

Brexit will do NOTHING to help the catastrophic mess this country is in after nearly 9 years of bloody tory wrecking. How fucking DARE you suggest I don't care about the very issues that will be made worse by this travesty? The reason Brexit needs to die is to fix these issues!

I've screen captured all of this, in case you decide not to answer a reasonable question, and block or mute me. I challenge you to answer.
-
He will not answer of course and there is no option now for a GE and a default hard Brexit will make austerity seem like chicken feed
-
I very much doubt it.

You do know that after a
#PeoplesVote it is still possible to have a GE? Austerity is nothing to do with the#EU. Leaving the EU will mean that any future government would be limited by vastly reduced finances. No brainer! Spot on.Thanks. Twitter will use this info to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

you don't really believe its that binary do you? My view is there is no version of Brexit that will not hurt the poorest hardest, so it has to be stopped. My research and political work involves mental health in prisons, housing poverty, universal credit: https://independent.academia.edu/CookRoger

and do your job first: find a positive and reasonable argument why the UK shall be part of the EU (not just cherry picking like at the moment), then set up a strategy and be realistic what is possible after the people's vote has already been taken place. 3/
-
My job? In this case its easy, there is no Brexit that doesn't leave all worse off. There are plenty of ways of avoiding the society that 30 years of Tory, New Labour, Tory and Lib Dem govts have created.
-
Any Tory govt. left the many worse off. And still we all accept this as a democratic decision, but when it comes the BREXIT ref. this democratic consent doesn't count anymore? 2/
-
you don't really believe the Brexit ref was democratic do you? With the industrial scale of cheating and lies from Leave? Plus the support from Putin? Now the Remain campaign wasn't much better, but please don't revert to the one vote-one time 'will of the people' stuff.
-
Why not you just revert to the putin line as if 17 million people were influenced by this and as if it is definitively proven that this had the effect you claim
-
1. Only 1.8 million people needed to be influenced. 2. Leave's illegal, targetted lies were seen by over 10 million. 3. The people most affected were denied a vote in the referendum.
-
Prove that it influenced 1.8 million Govt also sent out a leaflet before the ref which was highly for remain This is allowed under EU/UK law tell me do you not want to follow EU rules? Also if you have left the country for 15 years its reasonable that you dont get a vote their
