Race-based mascots in schools are basically state-sponsored child abuse.
They are also a form of interscholastic discrimination. Mascots don't stay confined within a school district's boundary; students are unwillingly exposed to them at scholastic and athletic events outside their district. #NotYourMascot #ChangeTheName
