      Is he going to get more than 11% of the vote this time? He got 140,794 votes last time to Cornyn's 781,259. He came in a distant third.

      That's not the important question. The important question is whether he is a better man and candidate for Texas than John Cornyn. Those who throw their lot in solely based on who they think can win are gutless, soulless sellouts with no principles. They're what's wrong.

      Whoever gets the most votes absolutely matters. They don't let the one with fewer votes be in the Senate. Can't change it if you aren't in it. There are no points for quality. I vote for the most conservative one who can win.

          He'll win whether I vote for him or not. There isn't another viable option. Dwayne would be another John McCain, but in the other direction. We would need his vote and he would vote against it out of principle.
