Sub-Saharan governments have failed to provide the education our children need to be universally competitive. External funding for literacy and numeracy upskilling should be directed away from governments towards NGO's that have a real interest in the wellbeing of our children.
40% of the world’s 10-year-olds without basic literacy skills are in sub-Saharan Africa.
