Frustrated, crying and angry, #STEMschool shooting victims hold an impromptu vigil in the rain Wednesday after leaving a gun-control vigil they felt inappropriately politicized their trauma. (They asked that I not photograph their faces close up, and I respected their wishes.)

Good for them. As a parent of a Stem senior, I'm sickened over this. The vigil that I attended this evening was for Stem families. No press, no media. It was moving and needed for the kids to grieve with their classmates without cameras in their faces or political agendas.

That’s great to hear. This one was tough because reporters were invited to cover it but I don’t think a lot of the students understand who sponsored it.

Good for them. It’s pretty sickening that our political atmosphere is, “never let a good tragedy go to waste”.
