    Eggs: Soft Boiled (or over medium are a restaurant) Steak: Medium Rare, cooked sous vide Milk: Whole. In fact, the super special organic kind that still has the cream on top is the BEST. Alcohol: Gin, Wine, Port, Beer, Mead… basically, yes. :)

    If we *want* to avert climate change, we have to *act* like we want to avert climate change, and I don't mean recycling or trying to take shorter showers, but making sure our elected representatives know goddamn well our support for them is predicated on averting climate change.

    The encampments never denied me the use of my local parks but the fences sure do

    who’s using bellwoods, barbara hall, george hislop, university medians & alexandra park right now? no one. cuz y’all done fenced it off. it’s like you’re saying - if rich people can’t walk their dogs cuz homeless people need it, then NO ONE GETS THE PARK! also…..

    There's a key point about what happened today at that is extremely important. Housing workers weren't even there. There was no attempt to create even the *appearance* of offering assistance. This was cold blooded violence against people who weren't given options

    I was arrested earlier today for taking a picture of Toronto Police at Lamport Stadium using the sort of tactic that according to the Toronto Police department they don't use.

    I don't know if anyone else had to do the "farmer has X fencing, needs to make two equal fields next to each other, what dimensions should they be to maximize the area" but I somehow just jumped to a trivial solution and ignored the fancy "completing the square" math they wanted.

    20) You could never show your work in Math, because you didn't HAVE to do the steps they talked about. You would look at some part of the problem, and skip *several* steps, because the answer was OBVIOUS. Like, WHY would I have to show that 2+2 is 4? It just IS.
