Um...did you bother to read the EMBEDDED DOCUMENT the poster of this thread inserted? Perhaps you are being sarcastic (which, admittedly, does not always translate well on the Internet)? 45 CANNOT pardon Ali since in 1971 the Supreme Court of the United States cleared Ali.

Ergo a pardon is not only uncessarry, it's impossible for there is NOTHING to pardon. It's another example of our president being ignorant of history and baneful of the process of governing. There is a procss of pardoning people, it's not done by what may be popular.

Pardoning people seems to be the only thing he can really do, so he's going for it.

Well that really is the point, right? He gets to play god, which is what this whole "presidency" is really about. Pardoning people is an easy way to get the attention without doing any real work.
