It was a fantastic episode and I will be thinking about it for a while. I'm gonna have to rewatch in the morning before I can put it all into words,

I can’t watch until tomorrow so I’m mentally closing my eyes, but I am so excited for this episode!

It was amazing. Gotta be in the top tier of Who episodes ever. I can’t stop thinking about it.

I knew the first ep of Doctor Who was directed by an Indian guy, but it never dawned on me that they'd never had a poc writer... Wow... About damn time. Do you know if Chibnall is doing a writers room or if it's (as usual) episodes written individually and edited by Chibnall?
-
My understanding is he’s operating a sort of writers room

Who cares what race the person is who wrote it if the message is powerful?
-
Because when Who has touched on racism before, the episodes have been written by white men and therefore they featured the usual white people nonsense. And I say this AS a white person. Also it's about bloody time, after 55 goddamn years, we had more women and/or PoC writers.
